A Step Ahead's prosthetic technical staff has more than 25 years of experience in the prosthetics industry, consistently working with the latest technologies. They have performed composite engineering, and are intimately involved in customizing socket and component designs with our prosthetists. Our technical staff supplements its expertise by attending A.B.C.-approved instructional seminars (designed for prosthetists) to improve their skills and expand their base of knowledge regarding prosthetics.

Our Skin Tones staff has nearly 30 years combined experience in anaplastology (making life-like prostheses), creating skin systems that perfectly match your individual physiology, pigmentation, skin tones, and overall appearance. What makes their work so unique is that the Skin Tones system achieves the highest level of cosmesis while fitting over the most state-of-the-art prosthetic components.
